Parking Ticket Appeal

If you wish to appeal a parking ticket, download the “Parking Citation Objection Statement” form, fill it out in duplicate and return it in person to the Traffic Unit at Police Headquarters within 10 days. You will be assigned a date and time to appear before the Appeals Hearing Officer once the Traffic Unit receives and processes the form.

As a reminder, you will be notified by mail approximately two weeks prior to the hearing. If you are unable to attend the hearing, at least 24 hours notice is required to reschedule.

WARNING: ALL FINES, FEES, PENALTIES AND COSTS WILL BE PAYABLE UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR JUDGMENT.

IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AT SAID HEARING, AN ASSESSMENT FROM DEFAULT WILL BE HELD UPON YOU. ALL SUCH UNPAID LIABILITIES WILL BE COLLECTED BY CIVIL PROCESS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE SUPERIOR COURT G.A. 18 AS WELL AS NOTIFICATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
